Wow Amie! This is AWESOME! I'm so happy for you! the last chapter I read was when the two were just getting together and how magical that was. ("There are no coincidences," right?) I remember how it took me back to my own HS years and the high emotions that accompanied it. You have many gifts, and this is definitely one of your strong suits.

KUDOS, my friend! and make sure you let me know when this comes out. I want a signed first edition. :)

It was so nice of you to put my name under the "Thanks" section of the "The Reservoir" page. Thanks again for all you do as a mom, a teacher, an author, and a friend.

Amie! I just finished your book! It's so clever I think you really have something here! I'm sure in time you'll get it published. I just wish the process wasn't so long and complicated. Best of luck to you my friend.

Hey there! I had no idea you were designing your own website. What a good idea and what a great job! I don't know how you find the time to do everything. You make me tired. :-)

Thank you so much for including me in your writing adventure. I know that you will be published and I can't wait to spread your book around. After that, I think it's only a matter of time until we will get to go watch your movie.

Keep plugging away. It will happen!

Amie, Very cool. I am always so amazed and in awe of how you find the time to accomplish all you do. What an inspiration to others, especially your students. I miss seeing you weekly now that Kait is persuing the violin. My husband is set on her returning to the piano one day. Hopefully, you'll still have time when you are busy writing the screenplay for the movie based on "The Resevoir". Speaking of which, many congrats on your major accomplishment. Is your book available at our Borders? It sounds very intriguing. I look forward to reading it. Again, all our best to you and yours and your future ventures.

OK Amie! Or should I address you as Miss Heartwell? You have succeeded in stimulating the interest of your reading audience. You have that audience perilously poised on the precipice of booklover deprivation. So when is your first novel going to be available? I want my autographed copy within a week of release!

Your website is so cool! I like the home page because it has my signature line on it (because I'm cool like that).

By the way, I love your book. My favorite scene is the volleyball scene. I think every kid who was ever picked on high school can relate to that scene and feel some sense of vindication. Which also means you did a tremendous job of making your characters seem so real. I can surely see this book becoming a movie.

Amie, Great idea, love it! By the way, I can't read the copy you are sending as it needs to remain sealed in order to do you any legal good. My husband loves science fiction & would like to read it, send a copy to me at my office!Good luck.

Great job Sweethear! Its one of the best websites I've seen. Of course, I might be a little bias. Really love the humor and lightness of the site. Plus you look great!

    Mrs. Borst,

Your website is very nice. Your book and other articles have inspired me to write more on my own (not as good as yours) book.....After I am done with my homework and piano practicing that is. To those reading this, Mrs. Borst's book is AMAZING (and many other adjectives that are synonyms for fantastic) and you should definitely buy a copy as soon as it hits the shelves (because it will be published).Keep up the fantastic work, Mrs. Borst!!

Hi, Amie! Read your message on LDS Musicians and came over. Cool job on the web site. And congratulations on your book. I am using my web site to publish a book on music you might find interesting. I publish a chapter a week, although the whole book is done. I am also writing a novel in my "spare" time. Isn't it fun. Good luck! Keep the group posted (or use LDS Writer) as you get your book published.

    Amie,
Lovely website. Very inspiring. Your article is remarkable. Have you considered turning it into a non-fiction novel? It is so rich with conflict at every turn. Tell your story of how you were an advocate for your child. It would be amazing. As an example of how compelling a real life story can be, you should read Mother Less Child by Jacquelyn Mitchard. Jackie became famous later in her career when she wrote Deep End of the Ocean, which was Ophra Winfrey's first Book Club entry. However, I must say that Mother Less Child is no less a page-turner.

It was great being with you in class. I wish I had made as much progress as you have this summer with my writing.

    All the best,
    Kevin
